## Before you begin

Create an **Advertiser API key** in your Ads Manager settings.

Use the advertiser key, rather than an OpenAI model API key or a Conversions API key.

## Connect your account

### 1. Open setup

Open the [Mighty Console](https://console.mightyai.app/) and select your workspace and brand.

### 2. Start a chat

Open **Integrations → ChatGPT Ads**.

### 3. Verify your key

Enter the **Advertiser API key** and select **Verify key**.

### 4. Check the result

Check the returned account name, currency, timezone, account status, and review status.

### 5. Choose your account

If this is the correct account for your brand, select **Connect account**.

Enter the key in the Console. Stored keys are not displayed back to you.

## Check it works

Connecting the account does not launch ads or enable conversion tracking. Finish the measurement steps shown for your brand before relying on conversion reporting.

### Replace a key

Use **Update API key** in the integration. Verify the replacement and check the advertiser identity before connecting it.
